Inspired by text from Islamic writings and scripture; "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah love not transgressors." Quran 2:190. "And slay them wherever ye find them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter... and fight them until fitnah is no more, and religion is for Allah." Quran: 2:191.
These two scriptures back to back saying there is a right to fight for your land and keep it for Allah. However, if one were to ignore the first verse and only relay the second, it can easily be construed as a reason for violence against all other nations and cultures. This filtration of information is only reinforced by the people who choose to not read the text for themselves. I believe this is so for any religious or political affiliation. When someone else tells you an interpretation of important text, take the time to research it yourself.
