Inspired by scripture while looking into Catholicism, this song makes an observation that is often ignored in organized religion. "But when your eye is bad, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!" Matthew 6:23. I saw this to say that even those who feel that they are filled with the light, could simply be fooling themselves if, in fact, their motivations are dark. An important message I think for civilization as a whole.
