So I take a walk along the edge of the Forest
All your life you're told to take care and grow old
Stay away from the edge of the forest
But as we all know, we are drawn to the cold, that lurks far beyond the edge of the forest
Legend and the lore, now surround who've gone before and not returned from the edge of the forest
But this doesn't stop me and my curiosity
Primal urge to pass the edge of the forest
I want to face my fear, and leave all that I hold dear
In safety far from the edge of the forest
I walk into the dark, upon the trees I leave a mark
So I have a path to the edge of the Forest
The air becomes so wet, Its hard to tell through my own sweat
No longer can be seen the edge of the forest
It's harder now to breathe, I feel the fear consuming me
I turn around in hopes to find the edge of the forest
In heavy desperation, I feel around for indentations
That was meant to lead me to the edge of the forest
But to my despair, the trees now feel bare, and alas there is no edge of the forest
